Someone pointed me today to a video documentary about Mike Beauchamp's bicycle tour across Canada in 2005. While I was extremely jealous of the bicycle touring experience, the context in which I came across the documentary, or in which it came to me, was related to beards. You see, for the duration of the tour, he did not cut his hair nor shave his beard, and it took him--I think--105 days to complete. He had quite a nice beard. Too bad he decided to get rid of the beard after completing the tour. Unlike him, I intend to keep mine growing throughout, between and beyond my cycling adventures.
